These are our terms and conditions of fostering and adopting our dogs.  They are not  intended to be exhaustive, and if you require any clarification or wish to raise any query regarding something not covered please do so in writing or via email.

CONDITIONS OF ADOPTION

  • There is an adoption fee of £200 which is considered a donation.  These fees are very important to allow us to keep doing the work we do.  This fee may be broken into two instalments, £50 as a reservation/homecheck fee and the balance £150 when you adopt one of our dogs.
  • The canine remains the sole property of Keythorpe Rottie Rescue (KRR) and may not be rehomed, sold, given away or destroyed.
  • You, the adopter/fosterer, are to provide care, kindness and prompt veterinary attention if the canine is ill or injured at your cost
  • Although micro-chipped, all canines must at all times wear a collar with a name and contact number of the adopter on it
  • If for any reason you can no longer look after the canine, it MUST BE RETURNED to KRR by prior arrangement
  • A member of KRR is welcome to view the proposed adopters home prior to application, and to visit the canine in its new home at any time.
  • Our canines are not for sale, they are for adoption to approved homes only.
  • The microchip will remain registered to KRR as ultimate backup that should the canine be picked up, we can be contacted.
  • If we arrange to transport a canine to you, we will usually ask that you make a donation to fuel.
DONATIONS
  • We gratefully accept all donations regardless of whether you are adopting one of our canines, providing fostering, taking a canine on home trial or simply if you wish to help us to help Rottweilers in need.
  • We are a privately run rescue and donations are essential to the work we do, and the veterinary treatment we provide to the canines in our care.
  • Needless to be said, donations received are not refundable.
